Christmas is upon us

It seems this year flew by so quick. So many things happened and yet so little to show. So many debates, so many arguments, so much laughter, so much happines and yet so much sadness.

That's the year in a nutshell. I prefer the way our good friend John Lenon puts it:

So this is Xmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Xmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young

A very Merry Xmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

...More

The bottom line is that this is a very religious time of the year and for a non beliver, like myself, it is a very difficult time. I always think back when I use to be a Roman Catholic, the stories that were told, and then at what point did I turned. Christmas for me is no longer about Christ, but I still enjoy Santa. I think the world has gone commercial. When was the last time you remember someone saying "let's go take a picture with the baby Jesus"? This is a wondeful time of the year, after all, I get a week and a half off and get to share with family and friends, I hope you do the same.
